The Synchro Prelims were held at Glenmore on yet another rainy Sunday. After a 2-hour delay due to a spectacular lightning display, the show was underway with a spectacular opening routine by Madison Craney to win the Junior Solo event. Madison also took a second first place ribbon with her Senior Teammates Megan Mongeau, Amanda Beccherini, Jessica LaBarbera, Vanessa Morin, Amanda Kom, Amanda Gagne, Sarah McCormack and Samantha Hunt. They were coached by Meighan Diggle and Christina Daoussis.

The Junior Duet of Kaitlyn Caron and Amanda Beccherini finished an impressive 2nd after a 2nd chance to perform their routine due to a failure of the underwater speakers.

The Junior Team was the crowd favorite with their unique ‘super hero’ suits and theme created by coaches Keli and Madi Hersh. They finished 3rd, earning extra points for fielding a very large team of 10 swimmers: Mallory Phillips, Tatum Cutfield, Victoria Baker, Olivia Whitehead, Kaitlyn Caron, Katie Mongeau, Emily Reny, Kelsey Crone, Olivia Hunt and Emily Laflamme.

ECC finished 4th in both the Senior Solo – Samantha Hunt – and Senior Duet –  Jessica LaBarbera and Megan Mongeau.
