Leaders Outing 2017
The outing got off to an interesting start as there was no power until 11:00 pm. In spite of this, the kids managed to enjoy a candlelit dinner that included veggies, pizza, baked pasta, salad and dessert. They had a great time with a bonfire and s’mores.
Waking up was rough for most as there was little or no sleep, especially for Zach who had an eventful night! After enjoying some homemade breakfast sandwiches and fresh fruit, the brave ones faced the cool weather and waves and enjoyed mayaking on the beach.
A game of man hunt followed by lunch that included veggies, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad and dessert. Then off to the beach with the guards.
Overall, everyone was very well behaved.
Thank you to Felicia, Michelle, Lynn and Bruce who were a tremendous help and to Zach, Mitch, Mike, Monasi and Brianna for staying over and taking good care of the kids.
